Parking and Cars

The various attractions in the valley bring lots of people down, and these numbers will increase. Public transport is good at the top end of the valley but almost non-existent at the bottom end which encourages car owners to use their vehicles. Even using public transport isn't ideal for visitors with limited mobility.

On every visit to the area I find cars parked on the pavements and on the double yellow lines. This isn't just at night but all through the day.

Cars on the pavements make pedestrians walk in the road, which is not the natural order of things.

Can anyone suggest how we can enforce the law down here? - Eric

I agree Eric, the car and parking situation is getting beyond a joke, when I am pushing my son in the Buggy I am forced to walk down the road along lime street as the cars park on the footpath. I thought that McFees Yard was going to be used as a car park? -Alex
