Mushroom Works is a group of artists studios and gallery space in Newcastle upon Tyne housing a diverse range of creative businesses. The converted warehouse has 12 individual studios and is located in the Ouseburn Valley.

The studio space at Mushroom Works appeals to artists working across a range of media from creative writing to sculpture. There are specialist facilities particularly suitable for artists specialising in three dimensional work. You can see some of the fantastic work produced at the Mushroom Works in our Gallery

The project is artist-led, allowing tenants to develop their practice and work closely with other artists to form a supporting network.

The Mushroom Works Gallery is open on the first weekend of every month from 11am to 5pm and best of all it's FREE!

Working across many disciplines, the artists at the Mushroom Works welcome you to their unique working spaces. See works in progress, finished pieces and demonstrations. A unique and fun way to meet artists, see where art work is created by some of the best artists and designers in the region

This year you get the chance to by a piece of art 20cm x 20cm for £20 - an ideal Christmas present! Get there soon - they will go fast!
