Events

To celebrate Burns Night on January 25th the Cluny will be serving a number of Scottish ales. We’re expecting to see excellent beers from Atlas, Fyne and Orkney breweries. Not sure whether there’ll be haggis – why not pop along and find out.

The Cumberland Arms is holding a Winter Weekend Festival on Saturday and Sunday 21st-22nd January. A whole weekend of free art, workshops and music. Far too much going on to include here, but lots more information is available on http://www.thecumberlandarms.co.uk/festivals.asp

The Cumberland is also holding a winter beer festival on the weekend of Saturday / Sunday 28th / 29th January. I’ve had a sneak preview of the beer list and it’s looking good. The upstairs room will be turned into a games area with lots of oversized pub games such as skittles, shove board, giant jenga and things. There’ll also be free music on the Sunday.
