I find that the money saving expert is great for top tips to save money.


This morning I am looking at saving postage and this web page has been helpful to me.

Here are some links to assist in setting aside some of today's wealth, so that tomorrow is a bit easier.

Remember personal pension contributions are deducted before tax, so effectively for every 79p you save- the Government "gives you" 21p.

The results of the summer Survey

During summer, the North East Centre of Excellence sent out a survey on social clauses in public procurement contracts on behalf of the Office of the Third Sector. The survey sought views on the use of social clauses, their benefits and barriers to their use.

The survey confirmed there was much interest in the use of social clauses, and people have found them valuable.


HM Revenue and Customs

This is a contents list of former tax manuals, covering the spectrum of tax questions for anyone in business.

Hardly a riveting read but useful when you need to know some tax facts this is a good place to start.

I have just completed an online survey, then I signed-up and began creating my own online survey, seems quite easy and the basic package is free.



Here are a couple of US sites which offer advice for social enterprises, they seem to act as an archive facility, collecting together links to various topics, I have not found the UK equivalent to this type of site yet. -Alex
